Oshiomhole Will Land In Jail If I Become Governor – Edo APC Governorship Candidate

An aspirant for the September 10 governorship in Edo state on the
platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Blessing Agbomhere,
has vowed to probe Governor Adams Oshiomole and send him to jail, if
elected governor of the state.



Agbomhere, a kinsman of Oshiomole , from Fugar, Etsake Central local
government area of the state, made the vow on Tuesday in Benin, while
addressing on why he decided to contest in the election.

"I am running, not because I am from Afemi, not because I am from
Esan, not because I am from Benin, but because I am from Edo state. I
am running because I am from the camp of those that have been deprived
of leadership for too long, the youth."

"My government will abolish corruption in Edo state. That is why the
programme we have is to ensure that all our past leaders are probed.
Whether they like it or not, we will ensure that whatever they have taken
from Edo state, whatever they have wasted from Edo state, they will
bring back. And I will start from Comrade Adams Oshiomole , the
present governor of Edo state.

"We will visit all the projects he has done to ascertain how much he has
spent on the projects and if we see that Edo state has been sub charged,
we will ensure that such monies will be refunded to the account of Edo
state.

"We will also visit the Airport road project. We have been getting
petitions from different groups and organisations on that projects, how
[the first contractor] abandoned the project and left some money
unrefunded to the state.

We will go into that issue to ensure that we get into the truth of it and if
it is true that he did that, we will ensure that he refund with immediate
effect, the money into the account of our state.
We will no longer allow our state to be killed by those who put their
interest ahead of the state."

Commenting on genuine patriotism to the state, Agbomhere said, "I tell
people I am not a comrade, I am a patriot. I don't know the meaning of
comrade. In the Nigerian law, we don't know anything like comrade.

What we have in Nigerian law is patriotism. So we young Nigerians
should focus our intellectualism, our capacity and our capability in being
patriotic to our state, not in being comrade."
The governorship aspirant also berated Governor Oshiomole for
"abandoning the state-owned Nigerian Observer newspapers limited but
spent millions of naira elsewhere to printing government letterhead
papers and other documents when he needed less than N200 million to
refurbish Observer printing press."
When asked how he hope to get the nomination of his party to fly its
flag at the election even while threatening to probe the incumbent
government sponsored by the party, Agbomhere said the APC
constitution is against corruption, and so he will probe the present
government the same way President Muhammadu Buhari is currently
probing the immediate past government.
"We are probing because there are so many allegations of corruption
against the present government and the allegations are hampering the
chances of the party in the state," he said.
Besides, he said he has consulted widely with delegates of the party,
adding that more than 2,600 delegates are already behind him.

"We believe this is our time to take over the leadership of the Edo. We
have consulted with Edo people in diaspora. These young people have
resolved that it is their time to take over leadership.

We have what it takes to build Edo and take it to the next level. This is
the time for the change Edo people have been waiting for. I am the new
face of that change."

The governorship aspirant promised to invest heavily in the mineral
resources that abound in the state "for the development and engagement
of the people of Edo state."

Man Who Killed A Policeman Sentenced To Death By Hanging In Bayelsa (Photo)

Jackson Feutubobai, pictured above, was today sentenced to death by
hanging by a Bayelsa state High court for murdering one Inspector
Joseph Ofozini in Lobia II community in the Southern Ijaw Local
Government Area of Bayelsa State on April 5th 2013.



Jackson was part of a gang that killed 11 police officers on the day of the
incident.

The Presiding Judge, Justice M.A. Ayemieye while delivering her
judgment, said that the sentence is mandatory for those accused of
murder.

Commenting on the death sentence, the State prosecuting counsel, Arthur
Andrew Seweniowor, said if jackson fails to appeal in the next three
months, the state governor, Seriake dickson will sign his death warrant.
Jackson's counsel, Efieseimokumo Bipeledei, had earlier appealed with
the court to temper justice with mercy, saying the accused person is a
family man who has five children dependent on him.

Mr. Bipeledei urged the court to reduce the sentence to imprisonment

Breaking News!! Popular Actress, Ibinabo Fiberesima Sentenced To 5 years Imprisonment

Popular actress, Ibinabo Fiberesima was today Friday, March 11,
2016 sentenced to 5 years imprisonment by Justice Deborah
Oluwayemi. Ibinabo was visibly apprehensive throughout the
proceeding and burst into tears immediately the judgment was
delivered.

Actress Ibinabo Fiberesima has been slammed a 5-year jail term by The
Court of Appeal in Lagos on Friday. Justice Jamilu Yammama Tukur
delivered the decision on Friday, saying that the appeal was shallow and
lacked merit.

She (Ibinabo) was alleged to have knocked down a staff of Lagos State
hospital, Giwa Suraj as a result of reckless driving on the Lekki-Epe
Expressway in February, 2006.

The Nollywood actress had already been fined N100,000 by a Magistrate
court, a decision that was overruled by the High Court. Justice
Oluwayemi of the trial Court replaced the fine with a five year jail term,
saying that the Magistrate exercised "judicial recklessness" by giving
the option of a fine.

She appealed the case, but according to Vanguard newspaper, her appeal
was dismissed; thus setting her on the path to a 5-year jail term.

In September 2015, Psquare and Soundcity TV were involved in a bitter
twitter war.

Soundcity, had stopped airing videos by Nigeria's pop twins, P-Square,
since January of that year. They had invited the singing duo to an event
but they insisted Sound City pay a certain amount of money. While
trying to negotiate, Jude Okoye, their the manager had pointed out 'What

As many candidates continue to show displeasure over their poor UTME
results, some fraudsters have taken advantage of this to defraud the
gullible ones in the name of "JAMB Result Upgrading."


I want to state emphatically here that there is nothing like result
upgrading as far as we know.

Anyone parading as a JAMB official be it on Social Media Esp-
Nairaland or whoever asking you to contact him/her for "JAMB Result
Upgrading" or any assistance as regards your UTME Result is nothing
but a fraudster.

I wish to advise candidates to beware of such people as you will have
yourself to blame at the end of it all. They are all over the internet
and bear ridiculous names to grab the attention of undiscerning minds.

Do not fall victim to their scam. You will only end up loosing both ways.

If you feel your JAMB score may not get you admission into your school
of choice, you can go for JAMB Change of Course and Institution which

The aim of this post is to help and guide you in other to avoid mistakes
that may not be corrected after changing your course,so if you have not
done yours,kindly take 5-10 minutes to go through this post before

Here are the things to not before changing your course:

1. O'level And UTME Combination: Many JAMB candidates do not
bear this in mind before purchasing their form,you ought to first confirm
that your UTME Subject combination and your O'level result tallies with
the required criteria needed to be admitted to study that particular course
since many institutions have specific standard requirements for all
courses offered.

2. Changing From Course Not Related To Your UTME Combination:

Prophet Who “Predicted” Death Of Minister, Says He’s Seeing Death Of A Governor

Some of his predictions seem to have come to pass and as a result, the
President of Omega Fire Ministries, Apostle Johnson Suleiman, has
urged Nigerians to pray ceaselessly.


He made the call as President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration
recorded the death of Minister of State for Labour, Barrister James
Ocholi, demise of some Nollywood stars in the last few weeks, killings
in Benue as well as Saudi Arabia and Iran cold war.

In his new year predictions released in December 2015, Apostle Suleman
stated that Nigeria would witness serious political developments. He said
some ministers would be absent from cabinet meetings in 2016 due to
health related issues while some won't return alive.

Expressing sadness on the death of James Ocholi on Sunday, Apostle
Suleiman, reiterated his charge on all Nigerians to pray ceaselessly for
themselves and office holders.

Speaking to Daily Post through his media manager, Folorunsho Hamsat,
Apostle Suleiman specifically called for divine intervention "so that a
sitting state Governor would not die before the year runs out."

"The apostle received the news with sadness and again stated that a
governor may die next. He will speak to the public soon but for now, his
condolence on Mr. James Ocholi's death goes to the federal government,
the people of Kogi, his friends, family, staff and others touched by the
